Google API Services & User Data Policy

1. Data Accessed by Bookeey

When you connect your Google Account to Bookeey, our application requests access to Google Calendar event data (using the calendar.events scope). We access event details such as event titles, start/end dates and times, descriptions, attendee lists, and event statuses. This data is strictly used to synchronize your schedule, manage appointments, avoid double-bookings, and display availability within the Bookeey platform.

2. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

Bookeey does not sell, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third parties, except as strictly necessary to operate our infrastructure and provide our services (e.g., encrypted cloud hosting and database providers under confidentiality agreements) or as required by applicable law. We do not use, share, or transfer Google user data for advertising purposes or AI model training.

3. Data Protection and Security Mechanisms

We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect your sensitive Google user data and OAuth tokens. All communications are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Stored data and authentication tokens are encrypted at rest using strong encryption standards (such as AES-256), with strict access controls and the principle of least privilege.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Google Calendar data only for as long as your Bookeey account is active or as necessary to provide our scheduling services. You can revoke Bookeey's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Permissions Page. You may also request the immediate and permanent deletion of your stored data at any time by deleting your account inside Bookeey or by contacting our support team via email at hello@bookeey.me.

5. Limited Use Disclosure

Bookeey’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
